By creating an account or using LastCall ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. LastCall is operated by Alston Thompson LLC ("we," "our," or "us").

2. Description of Service

LastCall is a digital storytelling and legacy platform that allows you to:

• Record and preserve your life stories through AI-guided conversations
• Store important documents and information in a secure Digital Vault
• Designate Story Keepers to receive your stories and vault contents
• Create Letters of Instruction for your loved ones

3. Account Registration

To use LastCall, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)

4. Consent to Data Collection

By using LastCall, you explicitly consent to:

• Collection of account information (name, email, password)
• Storage of your stories, memories, and Digital Vault contents
• Processing of data to provide and improve our services
• Sharing of designated content with your Story Keepers
• Identity verification through Plaid for Keeper vault access
• Use of cookies and analytics to improve user experience

You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account. See ourPrivacy Policy for details on data retention after account deletion.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all stories, documents, and content you upload to LastCall. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content to you and your designated Story Keepers.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload, including stories that mention other people.

6. Story Keepers

You may designate individuals as Story Keepers to access your stories and vault contents. You understand that:

• Story Keepers must verify their identity to access vault contents
• You control what content each Keeper can access
• You can revoke Keeper access at any time
• Content shared with Keepers may be copied or saved by them

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use LastCall to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Share content that violates others' privacy rights

8. Payments and Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscription terms, pricing, and refund policies are displayed at the time of purchase.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy's data retention section.

10. Disclaimers

LastCall is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will meet all your requirements. We are not responsible for content you share or decisions made based on information stored in LastCall.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alston Thompson LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of LastCall.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
